Marking of PHOTC Professional Examinations

The marking of the PHOTC Professional Examinations (August 2025 series) was held from 8th to 12th September 2025 at Murang’a University of Technology. This critical five-day exercise was organized by the PHOTC Secretariat, led by Mr. Peter Mwadziwe, and coordinated under the leadership of Dr. John Kariuki, Chair of the Training, Accreditation, and Research Committee. The activity was honored by the presence of the PHOTC Registrar, Mr. Anthony Wainaina.

The marking exercise plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, fairness, and credibility of the professional certification process. It upholds the standards of the profession by guaranteeing that all candidates are assessed accurately and objectively. The expected outcome is the timely release of valid, reliable results that reflect candidates’ competencies and readiness to serve in the healthcare profession, in line with PHOTC’s mandate to promote excellence and professionalism.
